Kosher-certified beef for ships

Certified kosher beef in sealed packer cases, delivered frozen or chilled to vessels and cruise ships for crews, passengers and charter guests who keep kosher. It ships alongside our conventional beef, so one delivery can carry both.

Kosher beef in the US usually comes from the forequarter, so ribeye, chuck, brisket and short ribs are the core cuts. Hindquarter cuts such as striploin and tenderloin are rarely sold as kosher.

How we handle it

  • Sealed cases onlyWe sell kosher beef only in the packer's sealed, labeled cases. We never open, portion or repack them, so the certification stays intact.
  • Stored apartKosher cases are stored apart from other ranges and listed as separate lines on the delivery note.
  • Certificate per lotWe keep the packer's kosher certification on file for every lot and send a copy with the order on request.
  • Your standardTell us if you need glatt kosher or a specific certifying agency, and we'll quote only product that meets it.

Who orders it

Cruise lines and river cruise operators with kosher passengers, yachts and charters with kosher guests, and ship managers whose crew members keep kosher.

Questions

Kosher-certified beef: questions

Do you repack kosher beef for smaller orders?

No. Repacking would break the packer's certification. We sell kosher beef in full sealed cases only. If you need a smaller quantity, ask us which case sizes are available for that cut.

Can you supply glatt kosher beef?

Tell us your requirement when you request a quote. We quote only product certified to the standard you name.

How much notice do you need for kosher beef?

Kosher supply is narrower than conventional beef, so order as early as you can, especially for ports outside the Gulf Coast.
