Questions
Cruise beef FAQ
Do you deliver on cruise turnaround day?
Yes. Send the homeport, ship, turnaround date, pier and loading window. We deliver palletized, sealed and temperature-logged beef to the pier in that window, and the provisions team signs the receipt with a temperature photo.
Can you supply USDA Prime beef for specialty restaurants?
Yes. We supply USDA Prime and Choice ribeye, striploin, tenderloin and short ribs, frozen for long itineraries or chilled for turnaround day, and can quote packer-portioned steaks to your weight.
Can you supply kosher and halal beef for cruise guests and crew?
Yes. Certified kosher and halal beef ships in the packer's sealed cases, stored apart from other beef, with a certificate on file for every lot.
What paperwork do foreign-flag cruise ships need at US homeports?
Most large cruise ships fly a foreign flag, so beef loaded at a US homeport is treated as an export by USDA FSIS. It ships with an FSIS export certificate (Form 9060-5) marked "Ship Stores".
Do you supply cruise ships outside the US?
Yes. We supply cruise calls and homeport sailings in Mexico, the Caribbean and Panama through local partner chandlers, with US beef shipped in reefer containers and the export certificate each country requires.
